Notice of Annual Meeting of Members

The East Texas Crisis Center, Inc. Annual Meeting of Members for the *Friends of the Center will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, January 26, 2012, at the Crisis Center Administration Building.

The following business is scheduled for a vote by the members:

1. PROPOSED OFFICERS for 2012
2. NOMINATION OF NEW 2012 BOARD OF DIRECTORS
3. Proposing policy amendments to be approved by the Board of Directors.
4. Other actions may be proposed.

PLEASE CALL RuthAnn (903) 579-2513 to Reserve a Seat, if Planning to Attend *A member is defined as any person at least 18 years of age who made a Friends of the Center contribution in 2011.


Earlier this year, the Texas Council on Family Violence (TCFV) commissioned a statewide assessment of the prevalence of intimate partner violence in Texas. View the complete report here.


Once Again Tyler Ford has genrously donated a new Ford Mustang to be raffled of at the upcomming East Texas Auto and Cycle Show. The proceeds will benefit The East Texas Crisis Center.

ETCC Primary Prevention Program needs your help.

musical instruments
We need new or used musical instruments.

Guitars, Percussion instruments, Bongos, Tambourines, Maracas, Cymbals, Harmonicas, Keyboard, or any others you may have.

Part of what the Crisis Center will be facilitating in primary prevention is activism through appropriate way to create social change.  This project will prove to be a very effective way for children and teens to express feelings related to the messages the facilitators are teaching.    Please contact Linda Evans-Land or Jeremy Flowers at 903-509-2526 if you would like to donate musical instruments.

Pay It Forward Car Auction Success!

The "Pay It Forward Car" was auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona on Sunday January 24th. The winning bid was $42,000. All proceeds from the auction benefit the East Texas Crisis Center.

Mustangs of East Texas restored this amazing 1966 Mustang.

New East Texas Crisis Center website goes on line.

The Crisis Center website has a fresh new look. Designed to offer information to those in need as well as those wanting to help. The site will continue to evolve as we fine tune things, and your input is always welcome. webadmin@etcc.org
