Today, December 20, 2021, Melissa Azzam and colleagues Cody and Lana of Allstate-Melissa Azzam Agency in Kilgore, delivering all gifts they gathered from the community in Kilgore for the East Texas Crisis Center Adopt-A-Family for Christmas program. The representatives were met by ETCC Executive Director, Lana Peacock. The value of these donations is around $5,000.
The program helps make Christmas a little brighter for all the women and children residing in the emergency shelter and the non-residents families (ETCC clients) who are still struggling this time of year.
The East Texas Crisis Center’s mission is to provide safety, shelter and education to victims of family violence, sexual assault, dating violence and other violent crime and to restore dignity and purpose in their lives while promoting public compassion and awareness to reduce violence in the community.
