The Wood County Outreach Operation is staffed by Crystal Mayer and Maira Hernandez, our Victim Advocates serving victims/survivors in Wood, Rains and Van Zandt County.  This outreach office is located in Canton, at 218 South Buffalo, Canton, Texas.   Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Services for victims/survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and other victims of crime include: Crisis Intervention,  Safety Planning,  Support Groups,  Peer Counseling,  Shelter, Economic Education Classes, Community Resources & Information, Legal Advocacy, Limited Financial Assistance, Transportation to Emergency Shelter and Medical Accompaniment.

The East Texas Crisis Center HEART (help end abusive relationship tendencies) Support Group in Canton is held every Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
