We are pleased to announce that the East Texas Crisis Center has been awarded a $2,500 grant for the Children’s Prevention & Education Program. Bank of America Charitable Foundation has supported this program the past 4 years with total grants of $20,500.
The Children’s Prevention & Education Program assists children who have fallen behind academically as a result of living in a home environment where they have witnessed or experienced family violence. The program is designed to foster emotional, physical, social and educational well-being of children ages 3 – 17.
Representatives of the local branch Bank of America presented the check on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. The grant was awarded through a competitive application and review process.
