TYLER FORD DONATES 13TH CONSECUTIVE RAFFLE CAR RAISING $1,000,000

TYLER FORD DONATES 13TH CONSECUTIVE RAFFLE CAR RAISING $1,000,000

TYLER FORD DONATES 13TH CONSECUTIVE RAFFLE CAR RAISING $1,000,000 FOR THE EAST TEXAS CRISIS CENTER.

Tyler Ford donated the first raffle car to the East Texas Crisis Center raising $20,000 at the 2004 East Texas Auto & Cycle Show.  Fast forward to the 2016 East Texas Auto & Cycle Show where the 13th consecutive raffle car donated by Tyler Ford, a 1965 Mustang Convertible, raised $150,330 for the Center.

The 1965 Midnight Blue Convertible was given away at the 2016 East Texas Auto & Cycle Show at Harvey Convention Center on Sunday, February 21st.  The winner of the 2016 raffle car is Maria Kulma of Tyler with the winning ticket being #02756.

Every year since 2004, David Irwin, the General Manager and Managing Partner of Tyler Ford seeks to find a unique car that will catch the eye of the East Texas community, and generate the most revenue for the Crisis Center. The generosity of Tyler Ford goes above and beyond in supporting the services that are provided to victims & survivors of family violence and sexual assault.

After drawing the winning ticket on stage at the close of the 2016 East Texas Auto & Cycle Show and contacting the winner by phone, Mr. Irwin confirmed that he has a car selected for next year’s raffle car, but did not reveal what it was.

The East Texas Crisis Center wishes to thank everyone who purchased raffle tickets this year to help benefit the programs and services that provide safety and support to women and their children who must leave their homes to escape violence and abuse.
