Responsibilities Include:
Provide therapeutic counseling to survivors of family violence and sexual assault.
Provide individual, family and group therapy, and facilitate classes.
Provide parenting and interventions with parent and child/children as requested.
Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups for survivors.
On-call rotation for hospital emergency room as scheduled
Assist with public education as requested.
Requirements for Counselor- LPC, LPC-A, LMSW:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Counseling/Psychology.
LMSW, LPC License or LPC-A is required. One year of experience preferred can include practicum work.
Bilingual English – Spanish preferred.
Knowledge of therapeutic counseling techniques based on evidence-based trauma-informed interventions and research-based treatments for trauma such as EMDR and other proven approaches.
Job Type:
Full-time, Monday- Friday, Some evenings – Work schedule is flexible.
